Paper (or Papier) Mache is a delicate decorative art. Made in humble homes of Kashmir, this art is passed down from generation to generation. Boxes are made by processing waste paper. The colors are obtained from natural flowers-rose, lily, tulip, sunflower and jasmine. The product changes many hands from making the boxes to painting them.
